The announcement was made by Happinet on August 25, 2025, confirming that the culinary adventures of English maid Suzume Tachibana will soon grace television screens.

“The Food Diary of Miss Maid” centers on Suzume Tachibana, an English maid who, due to unforeseen circumstances, finds herself embarking on a new life in a small apartment in Japan. Her move marks the beginning of a heartwarming daily routine where her curiosity about Japanese cuisine takes center stage. Suzume’s fresh and adorable reactions to various Japanese foods, from sweet taiyaki and melon bread to savory takoyaki and onigiri, form the core of the narrative, promising to entertain and perhaps even whet viewers’ appetites.
