TNSK, the acclaimed creator of My Master Has No Tail, is set to debut a new manga series titled Torimatorimasu on August 7. The announcement was made in the August issue of Kodansha’s Good! Afternoon magazine, where the new series will be serialized.
Torimatorimasu will center on a character named Jun, a young girl who relocates to a clinic nestled deep within a mountain village alongside her father, a doctor. What initially appears to be the beginning of an idyllic summer for Jun quickly takes a chilling turn as she becomes privy to unsettling rumors circulating about the clinic. Her apprehension deepens upon the discovery of a mysterious, old videotape.
TNSK’s previous work, My Master Has No Tail (known in Japan as Uchi no Shishō wa Shippo ga Nai), was serialized in Good! Afternoon from January 2019 to January 2024, concluding with its 12th volume published in February 2024. That series also inspired an anime adaptation in 2022, which was streamed by HIDIVE. Kodansha USA Publishing digitally releases My Master Has No Tail in English.
