The highly anticipated third season of the anime series To Your Eternity officially premiered on October 4, 2025, bringing Fushi’s immortal journey into a contemporary setting. Fans in Japan can watch new episodes on NHK General TV, while Crunchyroll is simulcasting the series outside of Asia, including same-day English dubs.

This new season, adapting the manga’s “New World” arc, marks a significant shift as Fushi awakens centuries after the events of Season 2 to find a drastically evolved, modern Japan.

Fushi Awakens in a Transformed World

Following his victory against the Nokkers in the Renril arc and subsequent centuries of slumber, Fushi emerges into a world replete with advanced technology, bustling cities, and new societal norms. His decision to spread his roots across the planet during his hibernation has seemingly ushered in an era of peace, but this new world presents its own unique set of challenges and wonders for the immortal being. The narrative will explore Fushi grappling with his past losses while navigating this unfamiliar, futuristic landscape.

Production Details and Returning Staff

The third season sees Studio Massket joining Drive to handle the animation. Sōta Yokote takes over as director, with Kiyoko Sayama, who directed the second season, returning as chief director. The majority of the staff and voice cast from previous seasons are reprising their roles, ensuring continuity for the beloved series.

The opening theme song for Season 3 is “Fumetsu no Anata” (Your Eternity) performed by Perfume, while Masashi Hamauzu, who composed the ending themes for previous seasons, returns to compose the new ending theme, “Recollections”.

Key Story Arcs and New Characters

Season 3 delves into the “New World” and “Mimori” arcs of the manga. A central focus will be the introduction of Mizuha, who is revealed to be the 18th reincarnation of Fushi’s long-standing, obsessive adversary, Hayase. Mizuha’s personal struggles and her connection to her predecessors’ aim to capture Fushi will drive much of the new conflict. Fushi will also reunite with reborn versions of his past companions, including March, Gugu, Tonari, and Bonchien, who now inhabit this modern era. The season promises to explore themes of grief, growth, and existentialism as Fushi adapts to a world without the constant threat of Nokkers, but with new human complexities.

Where to Watch To Your Eternity Season 3

To Your Eternity Season 3 airs on NHK General TV in Japan. For international viewers, Crunchyroll holds the streaming license and is making new episodes available weekly, with both English subtitles and same-day English dubs. Episodes are typically released on Saturdays. The season is expected to run for at least 22 episodes, split into two cours.
