New Beginnings in Hana to Yume
The upcoming manga, Usagi wa Kemono no Hara no Soko de Shiawase na Yume o Miru, will feature a color opening page and a substantial 63-page first chapter in its premiere issue. Its serialization in Hana to Yume marks a new chapter for Tsukinaga, known for her engaging storytelling and distinctive art style.
The Success of Outbride: Beauty & the Beasts
Tsukinaga’s most well-known work to date, Outbride: Beauty & the Beasts, began its serialization in February 2020 on Hakusensha’s Manga Park website. The series has garnered significant attention, leading to its licensing for English release by Seven Seas Entertainment, under their Steamship imprint.
Outbride‘s Narrative and English Release
Outbride: Beauty & the Beasts is described as a reverse harem isekai romance, featuring supernatural suitors. The story centers on a young woman named Mashiro who is reborn into a fantasy world exclusively inhabited by men. She soon finds herself pursued by four supernatural beings—referred to as gods—who desire her to bear their children, as she is the sole human female in their realm. Adding to her challenges, the new world’s air is toxic, a poison that only a god’s kiss can suppress.
The series has seen consistent publication, with Hakusensha releasing the ninth compiled book volume in Japan on May 10. Meanwhile, Seven Seas Entertainment published the eighth English volume of Outbride: Beauty & the Beasts on August 8.
