The anime adapts Masakuni Igarashi’s manga, which began serialization in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine in September 2023 and currently spans ten printed volumes. Kodansha’s K Manga platform simultaneously publishes the series in English.
The story centers on Arisu Yamabuki, a second-year high school student, who embarks on a mission to find a mysterious radio host named “Apollo,” whose broadcasts provided him solace in his lonely nights but suddenly ceased. His search leads him to his school’s broadcasting club, where he encounters four ambitious girls, each with unique dreams involving their voices: one aspiring to be a singer, another a voice actress, a third a VTuber, and the fourth an announcer. The narrative explores their individual journeys and the unfolding mystery of Apollo.
