The upcoming television anime adaptation of Ryō Hiromatsu’s Uglymug, Epicfighter (Busamen Gachi Fighter) novel has announced three new cast members, adding to the excitement surrounding the isekai comedy series. The anime, produced by EGG FIRM with animation by WHITE FOX, is based on the manga adaptation of the light novel, which follows the story of an awkward shut-in who finds himself in another world.
New Cast Members Announced
The official website for the Uglymug, Epicfighter anime revealed the addition of three new voice actors to the cast:
- Konomi Inagaki as Seika: Seika is described as a pure and innocent young lady, unfamiliar with the ways of the world. Despite her kind heart and aversion to hatred, she has a childlike tendency to speak her mind.
- Kento Shiraishi as Seiji: Seiji is a refreshing and handsome character with a strong sense of loyalty. He possesses excellent leadership skills and takes on the role of the party’s leader. While generally a good person, he also has a chuunibyou (middle schooler’s disease) side to him.
- Maaya Uchida as Leeds: Leeds is an enigmatic loli with an unknown real name. “Leeds” is a nickname given to her by Seika, as she prefers not to reveal her true identity. She is agile, light on her feet, and possesses exceptional physical abilities.
These new cast members join Junichi Suwabe, who was previously announced as the voice of the protagonist, Shigeru Yoshioka.
