The eagerly anticipated English dub of the anime series “Watari-kun’s Is About to Collapse” is officially set to premiere on July 18. Crunchyroll announced the English dub cast for the romantic comedy, with several prominent voice actors lending their talents to bring the characters to life for Western audiences.
Key English Dub Cast Revealed
The English dub features a talented ensemble, including Abi Kumar as Naoto and Kelly Greenshield as Ishihara. Sarah Roach takes on the role of Satsuki, while Jad Saxton voices Suzu. Robin Clayton is cast as Sukekiyo, Ariel Graham as Tamayo, and Daryl Mayfield as Tokui. Nia Celeste will voice the younger version of Naoto.

Anime’s Original Japanese Broadcast and Background
The “Watari-kun’s Is About to Collapse” anime first premiered in Japan on Tokyo MX on July 4, 2025. Crunchyroll has been simulcasting the series as it airs in Japan. The anime is based on Naru Narumi’s manga of the same name, which was originally serialized in Kadokawa Shoten’s Young Ace magazine and later moved to Kodansha’s Monthly Young Magazine. The manga concluded with its 16th volume in November 2023.

Takashi Naoya is directing the anime at Staple Entertainment, with Matsuo Asami serving as assistant director. Tatsuya Takahashi is in charge of the series scripts, with additional scripts by Tetsuya Yamada and director Naoya. Shōko Yasuda is the character designer and also serves as a chief animation director alongside Yukiyo Komito, Toshimitsu Kobayashi, and Taeko Ōgi. Nonoka Suzuki is responsible for costume design.
