The upcoming Witch Watch anime has announced the addition of Nana Mizuki and Katsuyuki Konishi to its voice cast. The anime, based on Kenta Shinohara’s popular manga, is scheduled to premiere on April 6, 2025, in Japan and will be available for streaming in various countries.

New Cast Members Announced for Witch Watch

The latest casting announcements include:

  • Nana Mizuki as Ibuki Wakatsuki, Nico’s mother.
  • Katsuyuki Konishi as Reiji Otogi, Morihito’s father.

These additions follow previous announcements of other cast members, adding to the excitement surrounding the anime’s debut.

Production and Streaming Details

Witch Watch is being directed by Hiroshi Ikehata and produced by Bibury Animation Studio. The anime will air for two consecutive cours (quarters of a year) on MBS, TBS, and 26 affiliated channels in Japan, starting on April 6th.

Several streaming services will carry the anime outside of Japan, including:

  • Aniplus
  • Hulu
  • Tropics

Advance Screenings

An advance screening of the first two episodes, along with a selection of other episodes, will be held on March 30th in Shinjuku, Tokyo. The screening will feature appearances by several cast members.

About Witch Watch

Witch Watch is a comedy manga series by Kenta Shinohara, also known for SKET DANCE and Astra Lost in Space. The story follows Nico Wakatsuki, a witch in training, and Morihito Otogi, a high school student with demonic powers, as they live together. Morihito is tasked with protecting Nico from a prophesied disaster, leading to a mysterious and challenging cohabitation.
