A new promotional video for the upcoming anime series, “Yandere Dark Elf: She Chased Me All the Way From Another World!” has been released, offering a preview of the show’s theme songs and character voices. The anime, adapted from Nakanosora’s manga series, is set to premiere on April 6, 2025, on Tokyo MX and BS11.

Anime Series “Yandere Dark Elf” Premiering in April

The anime series “Yandere Dark Elf: She Chased Me All the Way From Another World!” is scheduled to begin broadcasting on April 6, 2025. This reverse isekai comedy follows Hinata Sunohara, a former hero who defeated the Demon Lord in another world, only to be followed back to Earth by Mariabelle, a dark elf with a strong, somewhat obsessive affection for him.

Theme Songs Revealed: “Omoi Ai” and “Sunadokei”

The promotional video offers a sneak peek at the anime’s theme songs:

  • Opening Theme: “Omoi Ai” (Heavy Love) performed by Miyabi of the Hatenko fu-fu music duo.
  • Ending Theme: “Sunadokei” (Hourglass) performed by Kecori.

Character Voice Cast Announced

The anime features the following voice cast:

  • Hinata Sunohara: Voiced by Rie Kawamura. He is a kind-hearted former hero who saved another world and now lives alone in Tokyo.
  • Mariabelle: Voiced by Minami Takahashi. She is a dark elf deeply in love with Hinata.
  • Sakura Mochida: Voiced by Kyoka Maruyama. She is Hinata’s classmate.
  • Mei: Voiced by Ayumi Mano. She is a cheerful demi-human girl who once adventured with Hinata.
  • Cecile: Voiced by Hinako Takahashi. She is a priestess who adventured alongside Hinata and comes to the human world to retrieve Mariabelle.

Production Staff

The anime is produced by Elias under WWWave Corporation’s new Deregula anime label. The key staff members include:

  • Director: Toshikatsu Tokoro
  • Series Composition: Yuki Takabayashi
  • Character Design: Kazuhiko Tamura
  • Music: Chihiro Endō

Story Synopsis

Hinata Sunohara, after defeating the Demon Lord in another world with the help of Mariabelle, Mei, and Cecil, returns to his normal life in Japan. However, his peaceful days are short-lived when Mariabelle appears at his apartment, determined to be with him forever. The series follows their tumultuous cohabitation, along with Hinata’s classmate Sakura, in a sweet and comedic reverse isekai love story.
