The vocal group iScream has been tapped to perform the ending theme song for Yano-kun’s Ordinary Days, titled “Better Off.” This announcement adds another musical layer to the highly anticipated adaptation, which previously revealed its opening theme.
FANTASTICS’ “POP LIFE” as Opening Theme
Prior to the ending theme reveal, the anime had announced that FANTASTICS from EXILE TRIBE would perform the opening theme song, “POP LIFE.” The opening theme was previewed in the first promotional video released for the series.

Yano-kun’s Ordinary Days is scheduled to debut on September 30, 2025, airing on Nippon TV at 1:35 a.m. JST (effectively October 1). It will also be broadcast on other networks, with new episodes airing effectively on Wednesdays at 1:29 a.m. JST. The Story of Tsuyoshi Yano’s Unlucky Days
The comedy manga centers on Tsuyoshi Yano, a high school boy perpetually plagued by bad luck and often seen covered in injuries. Kiyoko Yoshida, a kind-hearted classmate and class representative, constantly worries about him. Her concern leads her to observe his unlucky daily life and resolve to support him, blossoming into a unique romantic comedy.
Yui Tamura launched the Yano-kun no Futsū no Hibi manga on Kodansha’s Comic Days website in June 2021, and it remains ongoing. Kodansha published the manga’s 10th compiled book volume in March 2025. The series also inspired a live-action film that premiered in Japan in November 2024.
