Yōko Nogiri’s Bokura no Suki wa Warikirenai (Our love is not that simple) manga is set to conclude in two additional chapters. This announcement was made in the August issue of Kodansha’s Dessert magazine.
The romantic drama series, which translates to “Our love is not that simple,” first launched in Kodansha’s Dessert magazine in November 2022. The story centers on Yui, a high school sophomore who returns to her hometown after eight years due to her divorced parents remarrying. She finds herself in a complex love triangle involving her popular older brother, Hayato, and her handsome childhood friend, Ritsu, grappling with unexpected feelings. Kodansha published the manga’s sixth compiled book volume on June 13, 2025. The upcoming chapters will lead to the manga’s finale, which will be its 27th chapter.
