Three talented manga artists, Shō Aoi, Yui Sakuraba, and Sayaka Mogi, are set to launch brand new manga series on Futabasha’s Web Action manga website. Here’s a sneak peek at what each creator has in store for fans.

Shō Aoi’s “Osananajimi to Kanojo to”

Shō Aoi, known for the manga “Yogumo wa Mitsu wo Sū~Kekkon Sagishi to Ochiru Onna~” (The Night Spider Sucks Honey: The Marriage Swindler and the Fallen Woman), is launching a new series titled “Osananajimi to Kanojo to” (My Childhood Friend and Girlfriend). This manga is scheduled to debut on April 18.

Aoi’s previous work, “Yogumo wa Mitsu wo Sū~Kekkon Sagishi to Ochiru Onna~,” even inspired a live-action series adaptation on the Bump app, which premiered on March 19, showcasing Aoi’s storytelling. The manga was published under Beaglee’s Comic Vegas label, running from October 2020 to August 2023.

Yui Sakuraba’s “Kōkyū no Dansō-hi ~Nazotoki Musume wa Kōtei no Okiniiri~”

Yui Sakuraba is bringing readers “Kōkyū no Dansō-hi ~Nazotoki Musume wa Kōtei no Okiniiri~” (The Cross-Dressing Consort of the Harem ~The Mystery-Solving Girl is the Emperor’s Favorite~), which is an adaptation of Teiko Sasaki’s “Kōkyū no Dansō-hi” novel series. The manga launch is slated for May 23.

Sakuraba has a history of creating engaging manga, including “Zatsuki: Make Me a Star” with Takumi Mochizuki, which was released digitally by Kodansha USA Publishing in 2022.

Sayaka Mogi’s “Happy Hypoxia -Haiiro no Ko-“

Sayaka Mogi is diving into a new project called “Happy Hypoxia -Haiiro no Ko-” (Happy Hypoxia -The Grey Child-), set to launch on June 10.

Mogi’s “Girl, Meat Girl,” an “interspecies coming-of-age sci-fi” manga, recently concluded on February 13. She originally launched this series in Asahi Shimbun Publications’ Nemuki+ magazine in February 2023. Mogi is also known for her horror manga “Pupa,” which ran in Comic Earth Star magazine from 2011 to 2013, inspiring a 12-episode anime series in 2014. Additionally, she created “Red Riding Hood’s Wolf Apprentice,” which was serialized in Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine starting in September 2017.
