The Sword of the Demon Hunter anime has steadily expanded its voice cast, introducing new characters for its various story arcs.
Edo Arc Cast
For the Edo arc, which began with episode 2, several new cast members were announced. These include Hiromu Mineta as Zenji, Masaki Aizawa as Juzo, and Yoji Ueda as the Kihei Restaurant Owner. Additionally, Ai Kayano voices Ofu, Seiichiro Yamashita takes on the role of Naotsugu Miura, and Hitomi Nabatame plays Yotaka. Koji Yusa is cast as Somegoro Akitsu. Prior to the anime’s debut, Kentaro Kumagai was announced as Kiyomasa, a priestess bodyguard, and Haruka Shamoto as Chitose, whose family owns the village’s teahouse. Saya Aizawa was also listed among the additional cast for this arc.
Bakumatsu Arc Cast
As the anime progresses into the Bakumatsu arc, starting with episode 14, three significant new cast members have been introduced. Toshihiko Seki joins the cast as Yasuhide Hatakeyama, Kenichiro Matsuda takes on the role of Tsuchiura, and Kazuya Nakai is cast as Kiichi Okada.

With the commencement of the Bakumatsu arc, new theme songs have been introduced. The opening song for this arc is “Ash,” performed by [Alexandros]. FAKE TYPE is responsible for the new ending song, titled “Enrin”.
