The official website for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Misaki’s “A Gentle Noble’s Vacation Recommendation” (Odayaka Kizoku no Kyūka no Susume) light novel series has revealed more cast members and additional production staff, alongside a new visual. The series is set to premiere in January 2026.
The fantasy adventure anime, which was initially announced in October 2024, will be broadcast on TV Tokyo and BS TV Tokyo, among other channels.
Newly Announced Cast Members
Joining the previously announced lead voice actors are three new additions to the cast, bringing more characters from the beloved light novel to life:
- Tetsuya Kakihara as Eleven
- Jun Fukuyama as Studd
- Daiki Yamashita as Judge
These actors will lend their voices to key characters, expanding the ensemble as Lizel embarks on his otherworldly vacation.
Returning Main Cast
The previously announced main cast members who will lead the series are:
- Sōma Saitō as Lizel
- Yūichirō Umehara as Gil
Saito portrays Lizel, an aristocrat transported to another world, while Umehara voices Gil, a high-ranking adventurer who becomes Lizel’s partner and protector.

Anime Premise and Background
“A Gentle Noble’s Vacation Recommendation” is based on the light novel series written by Misaki and illustrated by Sando, which began serialization online in January 2014 on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website. TO Books later acquired and began publishing the light novels in print in June 2018, with 20 volumes and two short stories released as of April 2025. The series has also inspired a manga adaptation by Momochi with composition by 8Key, which Tokyopop licenses for English publication. The manga describes the story of Lizel, an accomplished noble who mysteriously finds himself in a parallel world. Instead of panicking, the laid-back Lizel embraces this unexpected turn of events as an opportunity for an “otherworldly vacation,” hiring adventurer Gil as his guide and protector to explore this new realm.
